gladsaxe playbill

The first Scandinavian outing for Rocky.

Staged in a tradional theatre, and "possibly unathorised", it was very successful, and saw 2 further legitimate productions, directed by Per Pellesen at The Aalborg Theater (Judland) (1992) and then again in Copenhagen at the Nørrebros Theater (Per was also manager) (2003). All three shows were successes.

Per Pallesen, born 1942. Danish actor, director and theater director, educated at Aalborg Theatre 1966. Went the following year to Copenhagen, where he made his name as Sigismund in Ralph Benatzky and Hans Müller Summer in Tyrol at the New Scala 1970. He soon made himself noticed in musicals and comedies and was instrumental in the 1970s in a series of revues . He made his debut as the director of Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Show Gladsaxe Theatre 1974.
